Several Ways:
- Many Physicians are not aware of therapeutic equivalent generics. Rx Care Management will contact the Physician and explain and educate the Physician about these medications.
- The medications are for the exact same therapeutic disease but are manufactured by a competing drug company.
- These medications have been available for over 5 years and have been shown safe and effective, where as, the newer medications (brands without a generic) have not been on the market long enough to demonstrate their effectiveness.
- The savings are tremendous. Please see the table on the Home Page.

The pharmacy can only supply as much medication as your physician prescribes for you, up to maximum of a three month at a time. If your physician writes a prescription for more than a 3 month supply, then we can fill those refills as they come due. It is recommended that you request a full year’s worth of refills from your physician for medications you take regularly.
8. What is the payment method for my prescription? Will you accept my insurance?
Payment methods are Visa Debit/Credit, MasterCard, Electronic check, money order, and certified check. At this time, we are not on-line with insurance carriers. However, we will provide you with a proper receipt for insurance purposes should you want to submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.
9. Why is the price different from the last time that I ordered?
Prices may change due to manufacturer price changes.

We use the latest encryption technology available to protect all your personal information and are fully compliant with federal privacy regulations including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability Act of America).
11. What are generic drugs?
A generic drug by law must contain the same active ingredients (the special chemical ingredient that makes the drugs work) and be equivalent in strength, and dosage to the original brand-name product. All generic equivalents of brand-name pharmaceuticals must be approved for sale by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). By choosing a generic medication instead of purchasing the brand-name medication, you can typically save a significant amount of money.
12. Can I use my local pharmacy to get the discounted pricing?
Yes, by presenting the Rx Care Management Discount Prescription Card to your local pharmacy, they can look-up the discount pricing for your medications through their on-line computer system in real-time. Occasionally, your local pharmacist may offer you the pharmacy’s own discount prescription card or offer to match price without processing the order using the Rx Care Management card. Since every prescription processed using the Rx Care Management card helps strengthen our ability to advocate for better and better prices and manufacturer concessions over time, we strongly urge that you not let a pharmacy usurp that power and that you require the pharmacy to process your order using your Rx Care Management group number provided on the prescription card.
13. How do I pay for my medication order?
We accept payments by Visa (credit & debit), MasterCard, money orders, and certified checks. Please make sure to include your prescriptions when you send in an order for delivery to your home by mail.
